Montezuma's Well in Northern Arizona

My friend Krash and I went to Montezuma's well on my birthday (Feb. 7th.)  This is a relatively deep natural water well, actual depth is speculative.  There seems to be several answers on this.  However, the vents that feed the Well are between 40 and 50 feet.  This is actually, well a sinkhole with natural water and has been an oasis for centuries.  The sinagua indians inhabited the area and fabricated stone dwellings in the rock on the west face of the Well.  The bottom has been measured at 55 feet but with the way the water continuously flows can be much deeper under the sand and pressure.

The Munds Trail is spectacular with views from outta this world, but then most of Sedona looks as though it was justapositioned and projected as a halogram from another planet.

Each story with complete with character and background sound effects (also human) were

depicted in a wide range of stories on how different people from completely different backgrounds were called to Sedona.  

 The above photo were the many hats used as costume props....

The book is available at the library and at local bookstores.

Halfway Picnic Area 89a!

That Halfway Picnic day use area on Highway 89a between Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona in Oak Creek Canyon, has some of the most spectacular views....The rocky range in the background which is the part of the southern most edge of the Colorado plateau was once enveloped underneath water.  The Coconino Sandstone layer is over 270 million years old that is the same geology that exists in the Grand Canyon.  The Colorado Plateau is comprised of an area of 130,000 million square miles.
